The BMW iX5 takes up the new design language of BMW and interprets it in its own way as an SUV. The front is upright and distinctive, with unique double X icons and the illuminated BMW kidney Iconic Glow. Viewed side-on, the characteristic BMW X proportions and the long roofline make it appear powerful and elegant at the same time. The BMW iX5 has state-of-the-art charging technology on board. With a maximum charging power of 460 kW, you can charge the BMW iX5 60 xDrive for 350 kilometres in just 10 minutes.¹
If you want it to, the BMW iX5 calculates the most cost-efficient route with charging stops. This takes factors like charging prices and personal preferences such as charge point operators into account.
If your BMW iX5 detects that you want to charge at a stop, it automatically opens the charging flap. After the end of the charging stop, the flap closes again automatically.
The BMW X5 is available with a wide range of BMW drive systems. The range includes traditional internal combustion engines (petrol and diesel), plug-in hybrids and fully electric models.

The luggage compartment of the BMW iX5 60 xDrive can hold 650 – 1,850 litres¹. Another 53 litres¹ of space is available in the storage area beneath the bonnet. This is also where the charging cable is stored securely and within easy reach.
The controls for the seat position and backrest, as well as other elements, are made of fine crystal glass – a sparkling highlight in the interior. The control centre’s slate surface is unique to the touch and a pleasant contrast to the standard dark Alcantara of the charging cradle in the centre console.
